Godspeed Helicopter Statue Skyline Tee

The Godspeed Helicopter Statue Skyline Tee is a mint, heavyweight cotton t-shirt printed with a military helicopter airlifting the Statue of Liberty over a waterfront city skyline, palm trees and high-rises lining the shore below. A white and black “Godspeed” wordmark arches above the scene in the label’s dripping gothic script. It takes a very different route to the same monument than the Godspeed Statue of Liberty Graffiti Tee, swapping spray-paint art for a photorealistic, almost cinematic scene. Godspeed keeps finding new ways to reuse the same American landmark across the catalog.

Lifting a Landmark

Putting the statue mid-flight, cables and all, gives the whole print a sense of motion and stakes that a still monument shot would not have. It plays more like a movie poster than a straightforward city graphic. The back carries a sunburst emblem with an eye at its center and “E Pluribus Unum” printed beneath it, a different recurring mark than the label’s usual “G” monogram.
